Spotlight Performing Dance Company (SPDC) is our competitive team that travels to compete at regional and national dance competitions.  This team is for the dedicated dancer who is willing to make the larger time commitment that being on company requires, which includes class attendance, rehearsals, home practice time, and weekend commitments.  Families must also be willing to travel to attend our national competition in the summer, which is determined at the beginning of the season.  Dancers on SPDC are a part of a team and are expected to be supportive of everyone who is on it.  Everyone on SPDC should love to dance! Anyone interested in joining the Spotlight Performing Dance Company must audition and should already have some dance experience.  No audition is necessary if the dancer is 6 years old or under, but they should have at least taken dance before.  The teacher will determine whether or not the young dancer is ready for company.  All interested dancers are required to take summer classes.
